Bio:
As an international concert artist, Michael Nigro has performed concerts and given master classes at universities, performing arts centers, church concert series, guitar societies, festivals and museums throughout the United States and abroad. His international tours have taken him to Argentina, Chile, France, Bulgaria, Mexico, Greece, and the Philippines. As a recording artist, Michael’s discography includes six CDs; three solo recordings, two collaborations featuring flute and guitar, and the debut recording of the Tucson Guitar Quartet, Latin American Soundscapes.
Michael served for 12 years as Assistant Professor of Music at Vanguard University, where he established a comprehensive guitar program and mentored numerous accomplished students. He is also co-author of The Classical Guitar Scale Book, published…
